Welcome to the
Rhodes 19 Class Association

Thanks for visiting the Rhodes 19 Class Association Website. Our mission is to promote Rhodes 19 racing by encouraging and supporting local fleet development nationally, and by working to maintain the one-design integrity of the boat. Our class is currently comprised of 15 active fleets located in the northeast, gulf coast and great lakes, and we’re always on the lookout for folks interested in joining us. If there is not an established fleet near by, we’re pleased to work with individuals to help them get new fleets started.

The R19 is a unique boat, as well suited to an evening sail as it is to competitive one-design racing. The boat is very stable and perfect for family racing. Husbands and wives, fathers and sons, brothers and sisters, and granddads and grandchildren are just a few of the family combinations that have crossed our starting lines this year.

If you would like to learn more about the boat, about any of the fleets or about the class association, this web site has a wealth of information and links. Our fleets and fleet locations are listed in this site, along with the fleet captains' names. Please feel free to contact our Class President, Tom Despres, at R19 Class Association.
